"The Kentucky After Christmas Sale" is held each year beginning on the Wednesday prior to the first Saturday in February. The sale is conducted at the Tattersalls Sales Facility, which is located at The Red Mile Race Track in Lexington, Kentucky. The 2009 edition of The Kentucky After Christmas Sale will be the 24th consecutive year we have operated this outstanding sale. We take pride in being the first event of the Tennessee Walking Horse industry season. During the sale, we provide a large selection of the finest Tennessee Walking horses available. With many opportunities available to buy and sell we are sure you will find exactly what you are looking for with our sale. Our sale is formatted to provide quality services to all the consignors and bidders. The sale takes place over four days and certain horses are sold on certain days. Broodmares, pleasure, trail, and plantation horses are sold the first part of the sale. We have a two year section, padded aged horses, and our Spotlight sale at the end of the week. The Spotlight horses are horses that have received top honors within the industry. These show horses have usually been a World Champion or a Reserve World Champion. Because of our diversity in the horses we sale, we offer consignors and buyers a very productive environment.
